The Initiation Councils of Sacred Fire Community’s Lifeways have begun a process of developing a Mentoring program for young men and women who have completed our young women’s initiation (Sacred Emergence) and our young men’s initiation (Sacred Awakening). Researcher: Look for ten established mentoring programs to present to the Councils. Write a brief description of each, ranking them based on standards developed by the Councils.
Administrative Assistant: Set up conference calls, organize meetings, retreats, trainings and other duties as needed.

Thanks Catherine for sharing this program with us. The Art of Mentoring program is definitely on our radar as we research ten top mentoring programs and facilitators to teach our adults the subtleties of mentoring. At some point in the near future SFC Lifeways will have an official mentor program which we’re hoping to begin within the next six to eight months.
We are happy to have experiences from other programs expressed on this blog and names of other mentoring programs that could fit with the Vision of Sacred Fire Community. We’re so excited to soon be offering our young adults a deeper and richer experience as they make their way from Initiation into Womanhood and Manhood to their lives as adults, in deep connection with their hearts.
