When you arrive, you can expect to be welcomed into the open arms of Sacred Fire Asheville for a real community experience of fun, games, food and celebration. Gathering of Men in Utah: Still time to register

Calling all men to come together, to discover our unique capacities, to strengthen our inner knowing and to support each other in moving forward for the benefit of family, community and the world. There is still time to register for the May 31 – June 4 Ukilái: Annual Gathering of Men in Moab, Utah. Let us take a moment to listen to our hearts: is this the moment for us to gift ourselves this special opportunity, led by don David Wiley? Who do we know who would benefit from this experience?

Help us collect Sacred Fire Stories

Do you enjoy the Fire Stories that we feature in our Sacred Fire newsletter and social media? Collecting them-–talking to Sacred Fire community members, Firekeepers and Lifeways providers around the world-–is a wonderful way of sharing the warmth of human relationships, no matter where we live on this beautiful planet. Our Sacred Fire Outreach team is hoping to welcome an editorial assistant who can help us with building our Fire Stories library. This could be accomplished in a maximum of four volunteer hours per month. Feel called?

Support This Summer’s Initiation into Adulthood for Young Women

Momentum is growing for this summer’s Sacred Emergence: Initiation into Adulthood for Young Women, which will take place July 6-15, 2019. The Initiation Council invites women and men to participate by being on staff.

Many gifts come from creating and living in a “village” that serves this important life transition ritual. Previous volunteers have found the experience to be humbling, enriching and full of heart. You can read some Sacred Emergence staff stories below in the Fire Stories section of this newsletter.

To apply to serve on the women’s staff, please contact Jessica De la O by March 31, 2019.

To apply to serve on the men’s staff, please email Gary Weidner or call 970-241-7256 by April 7.

If you are not able to join the Sacred Emergence staff, we invite you to make a financial contribution to help us cover expenses and provide partial scholarships for candidates and staff.
