On June 9, family and friends gathered in Rougemont, NC (USA) to witness the marriage of Firekeeper Michael Savino and Margery Nelson Price. The groom entered to the sounds of joyful djembe drumming, while the bride, accompanied by her two attendants, danced in to the song “Dance Me to the End of Love.”
After the ceremony, officiated by Firekeeper Patrick Hanaway, (Asheville, NC, USA), those present shared a delicious feast prepared by the local community, and enjoyed heartfelt conversations and merrymaking. The event took place on the welcoming grounds of Elderberry Village, a senior co-housing community.
